Itinerary

Our coastal loop adventure starts with a walk on the beautiful Greenhead Three Bays Walk. We have lunch at Dynamite Bay, part of the Three Bays Walk. Then, we drive along Indian Ocean Drive to enjoy breathtaking coastal views. On our way to Geraldton, we stop at Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake, a popular attraction just outside town. Next, we visit the stunning coast of Kalbarri and see the Natural Bridge before taking a leisurely walk at Castle Cove. We stay overnight in the peaceful seaside town of Kalbarri, where the Murchison River meets the Indian Ocean. No meals were provided. Accommodation is at Kalbarri Edge Resort: Private Studio Rooms (with ensuite) or a similar alternative. The driving distance is 575km. The hike distance is 2.5km.
Begin your day early to explore the stunning sights of the Murchison Gorge, Nature’s Window, and the Kalbarri Skywalk. Take in the beauty of The Murchison Gorge at the Hawkes Head lookout in Kalbarri National Park, where water has carved its way through sandstone. Enjoy the vibrant colours of wildflowers during the spring season. Stop by the famous Billabong Roadhouse for lunch and refreshments (at your own expense), a landmark serving visitors to Western Australia since 1962. Continue your journey to Shell Beach, a unique beach made entirely of tiny shells. Stay at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, located on the beach and home to resident dolphins. Explore the World Heritage Listed area of Shark Bay and have the option to rent a kayak and enjoy a leisurely paddle. Take time to relax on the beach or at the resort, and keep an eye out for turtles, dugongs, emus, and kangaroos that inhabit the area. Meals: Breakfast. Accommodation: RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort Private Standard Rooms (with ensuite) or a similar alternative. Driving Distance: 450km. Hike Distance: 3km. Participate in abseiling with Kalbarri Abseil for two descents.
We will meet the Monkey Mia Dolphins this morning and take amazing photos. We will stop in Denham, a lovely town, and walk along the foreshore. There, we can admire the breathtaking cliff views of Shark Bay and see wildlife like sharks, turtles, rays, and more at Eagle Bluff. At the Overlander Roadhouse, guests can buy lunch on their own. Afterwards, we will continue south with photo stops at Galena Bridge and Coronation Beach before our final overnight stay in Geraldton by the seaside. Meals: Breakfast. Accommodation: Hospitality Geraldton Motel Private Standard Rooms (with ensuite) or similar alternative. Driving Distance: 385km. Hike Distance: 2km.

You can enjoy the HMAS Sydney Memorial and take in the stunning views of Geraldton. Visit the Point Moore Lighthouse in Geraldton. Take a walk along the foreshore and the lookout in Port Denison. Continue your journey along the Indian Ocean road with a stop in Jurien Bay. Take a walk along the Jetty. Travel to the lovely little seaside town of Cervantes. Enjoy a fabulous lunch option at the WA famous Lobster shack. Take a guided tour through their Lobster factory. Explore the fantastic Nambung National Park and wander around the strange and eerie Pinnacles Desert. Relax on the bus for the last stretch and enjoy the scenic countryside views. Make your way back towards Perth with drop-off starting around 6.30 pm.
