The park is home to various native animals, including kangaroos and wallabies, and offers beautiful natural wonders such as silver and falls and panoramic mountain views. During the tour, visitors can enjoy short walks to some preferred locations and visit the award-winning Brambuk Cultural Centre to learn about the region’s history, people, landscape, and Wildlife.

Why Visit Grampians?

This tour offers a day trip from Melbourne to explore the stunning beauty of Grampians National Park.
Visitors can experience a time-travel sensation when exploring the Ancient Landscape, which features rugged mountain formations and stunning sandstone ridges. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you will better appreciate the region’s countryside and historical background.

We will travel 250 km west through the countryside with a significant Victorian Goldrush history as we depart from the city. Along the way, we will stop in one of the charming towns to learn about mining history and have a morning tea/coffee break.

After arriving in the Grampians National Park, visitors can visit the Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Here, they can learn about the creation stories that are essential to the landscape and explore the centre to observe various animals such as wallabies, emus, and echidnas. This experience offers a greater understanding of the significance of Gariwerd for the Indigenous people.

Reeds Lookout provides panoramic views of Lake Wartook, the Victoria Valley, and the Mount Difficult Range. We hike along the shaded path through the gum trees and interesting rock formations to The Balconies. At this spot, you will see the well-known ‘Jaws of Death’ with stunning views and scenery featured in the Japanese Animation’ Princess Mononoke’.
The waterfall in Victoria Valley is widely recognized for its natural beauty. Visitors can hike down to the base and witness the impressive water volume while enjoying the refreshing air spray. The hike to the base and back of the falls includes approximately 250 steps. Additionally, there is an alternative option for a flat walk over the top of the falls for those who prefer an easier route. If Mackenzie Falls were ever closed, visitors could enjoy a peaceful hike to Silverband Falls instead.

One option for a picture stop is the Boroka lookout, which offers stunning scenery views. Alternatively, if the weather and visibility are not ideal, we can visit Lake Bellfield and walk along the dam, surrounded by two mountain ranges.

In Halls Gap, kangaroos are everywhere in the evenings, nibbling on the grass, eliminating the need for lawnmowers. You will probably encounter various Australian birds, such as kookaburras and emus, during your visit to the Grampians. However, it is guaranteed that you will not depart from the area without spotting a kangaroo. Occasionally, we have the opportunity to observe echidnas and wallabies. Please remember not to feed the Wildlife, but ensure your camera battery is fully charged.
At some point, we must return to the city. The journey from the Grampians, which takes 3 hours, includes a stop to buy dinner (at your own cost). Passengers will have the opportunity to relax and reflect on their day of exploration as they arrive in Melbourne at approximately 8.30 pm. Drop-off will be provided at the original pickup location or nearby public transport links.

NOTE: Child rates apply from 6 years to 12 years old. It is unsuitable for children under six years old due to the nature of the tour and safety reasons.
