Full Itinerary

The Melbourne to Adelaide Tour is a 3-day trip that highlights the Great Ocean Road and Grampians. Combining these destinations and staying overnight can make the most of your time and experience. The first night’s accommodation is in Warrnambool at the end of the Great Ocean Road. The second night is in Halls Gap, deep within the Grampians National Park, surrounded by beautiful scenery.

We start our journey in Melbourne and drive along the Great Ocean Road Grampians Adventure Tour. The Great Ocean Road offers breathtaking ocean views and surf beaches. During the tour, you can see wild koalas and take a guided rainforest walk. Don’t miss visiting the Twelve Apostles and other fascinating spots along the Shipwreck Coast. We will stay overnight in Warrnambool.The meals are not applicable. The accommodation options include private double/twin/single rooms with ensuite bathrooms at Downtown Motel and triple shared accommodations with a shared bathroom. The driving distance is 360km.

On the second day, visitors can explore the Tower Hill Conservation Reserve, an extinct volcano known for its Aboriginal history and diverse wildlife. Afterwards, a hike to the Pinnacle lookout provides an excellent view of the Grampians. The day concludes with a traditional Australian BBQ and an overnight stay in Halls Gap. Meals for the trip are breakfast and dinner. The accommodation options include Gariwerd Motel Private Rooms with an ensuite bathroom or Grampians Eco YHA Shared Accommodation with a shared bathroom. The driving distance is 190km, and the hiking distance is 4.5km.
On the final day of the journey, it is recommended to hike to the base of Mackenzie Falls and visit other well-known sights like Boroka Lookout and The Balconies. Following a remarkable few days of exploring the coastline and mountains, the route continues across the western plains of Victoria into South Australia, arriving in Adelaide at approximately 7:30 pm.
